It was a hot day! I am sure by now everyone is familiar with a gate crashing chinese wedding day. But do we know how it originated from? Long long time ago, marriage between two individuals were matched make by their parents. So, they were strangers on their wedding night. Therefore, family and relatives at the bride's side will play cheeky games as an ice-breaker for the groom. Tradition believes this is also to chase away evil spirits lurking around the bridal chamber by making lots of loud noises.
Today, our Chinese weddings still carries on this tradition but it is more modernize now....lol... we have wasabi, yoga stances, face make-up and many many more. Now, this is what we call real ice-breaker ;)
Their wedding reception was held at The Jaya Palace Restaurant, Wisma LYL.
