This is one of the most famous restaurant in Kepong for weddings and we have covered weddings here numerous time. Tips from us, try to get the upstairs ballroom for a better environment. March-in for this couple's reception was quite special. They had a group of Korean style dancers playing drums at the entrance.

Also, bride's second gown was quite unique, Korean style and we totally love it!

What we like about this is the non existence of pillars and we can really get a shot right across the hall...

Lightings were good, not too dimmed. There was a high stage too. We notice the grand table does not have a centerpiece. We were not sure why as we forgotten to ask the bride if she requested it to be empty. So if you plan to have your reception here, remember to ask for the centerpiece ;)
We always do try to make your guests smile and laugh when posing for group photos and besides that, to let them have fun ;)

Lately we have been very occupied with work and have not been updating our blog. So let us start posting now and we only post dinner photos from now on so that for those who are planning your wedding and have not decided on the dinner venue yet, hope our photos will help you to choose the right one. We will also provide you as many information as possible.
These photos were taken on Nov 2014 and the venue is Dynasty Dragon Seafood Restaurant (SS2 Mall)

This place is great if you have a big crowd. Lightings were abit dimmed but we were still able to handle the situation. They have a high stage which is good for long shoots. FYI, usually for long shoots can only be done prefectly when you engage two photographers. This venue also does not have many pillars. Food wise, bride did complain that the abalone was too small.

Hwei Vern had her morning preparations at Premier Hotel, Bukit Tinggi, Klang. And it was very early in the morning....

Hock Guan .... simple guy, friendly, easy-going.....no wonder he has such good 'brothers' during the gate crashing games :)

Honestly, we have never met this couple, only until the day of the wedding. Sometime, we just feel happy that these couples trust us even without meeting up. Communications were only through emails and calls. Actually, we have seen many weddings, hundreds! Closing one eye and we can memorize everything.

So if you are looking for a photographer for your actual day wedding now, it is very important that you find one that has at least 4-5 years experience compare to a newbie. The difference is really alot, not just in terms of rates, but how that photographer manages the situation on the actual day.

Good news! There is a new 4-star hotel just opened in Puchong on 15 Dec 2014....Four Points by Sheraton. We had the priviledge to view the hotel on the day of the opening. Their room rates starts from RM290nett and for the opening promotion, room rates now are from RM220++.

So if you are living in Puchong and you always wanted to have a grand wedding at a hotel, instead of travelling all the way to KL city, why not consider here. Eventhough it's a new hotel in Puchong, but my past experiences with this chain hotel, their service are excellent. Therefore, I'm sure they will not let you down. Here is a photo of how their ballroom looks like. Putera 1 & 2 can accommodate up to 50 tables. Their Chinese menu wedding dinner package starts from RM1,688.00 nett per table and minimum 20 tables. The Grand Ballroom is minimum 28 tables. The package sounds good to me, so why not pay a visit there and see if you like the place.

2015 is Open for bookings..

How time flies and it is already Dec now. Next, will be Christmas!

We are very please to inform that bookings for 2015 weddings are opened now. To avoid dissappointments, please do book your favourite vendors soonest possible as year 2015 is another good year for weddings.

When to book your vendors? Once you have confirmed your wedding date and venue, you can start booking your make-up artists, photographers and cinematographers. A year ahead to do all these preparations are not too early. Most good vendors are booked quite early, so don't wait till the last minute to book yours :)

Alvin & Venus's Wedding Dinner Reception - 8th June 2014

Here are some photos from Alvin & Venus's Wedding Dinner Reception. The reception was held at The Elite Seafood Restaurant (Ah Yat Abalone Forum Restaurant (P.J). 

The restaurant has very nice colourful lightings and we were able to add more colours to their photos. 

Tips for choosing a good venue, make sure they don't have lots of pillars besides the good food. And most important, avoid dimmed yellow lights. Give adequate lightings for the photographers to shoot. Eventhough they have flashes, it still forces them to use high ISO and the photos quality turnout maybe to noisy. Unless you engaged a professional photographer, they would know how to handle situations like this. There are reasons why professionals, like us, invest in high quality expensive L lenses, to make sure we deliver the best and quality end product :)
